I’ve made a few cutting boards in my day, but I’ve not made nearly as many as a local Michigan Artist, Anne Curtis.  Taking inspiration from her cutting board design elements, here are just a few boards that I attempted in similar fashion.  After you are done browsing around here, I’d encourage you to explore Anne’s WoodenWonders website.

I have not yet met Anne personally, but I have seen her work at some of the local art fairs. Her pieces are simply beautiful in both design and in workmanship.  One of the things that impresses me most about Anne and her family is that they have successfully created a small business doing woodworking.  Her passion for woodworking and her artistic eye make a winning combination. This is her chosen full-time occupation and she is succeeding. Good for you Anne!

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I hope Anne, that you are flattered.
